Tim Bray has a great piece on XM Radio and the fact that their board debate about the future business direction has been done more in the open than usual. His key points are right on the money:
Why are we surprised that they’re having a profit v. volume argument at their board level? Isn’t that what they should be doing? Why are we bashing them for making parts of that discussion public?
Michael Arrington reports about the advances in on-line storage offerings over at Techcrunch. If you haven’t looked at this stuff in awhile, it’s worth a peek, as its much different than I remembered….

Fired up Cosmo for the first time tonight. Worked pretty well with iCal, though iCal won’t seem to sync with it (can only publish to it, or read it as a read-only calendar). Haven’t tried Chandler, which is supposed to sync.
Would like to get a shared calendar system at home…

Mr. Jacobs,
You dont need me to tell you that your hockey team is awful. Anyone who had doubts before got convinced when they gave up 6 goals in successive games this week.
I writing to talk to you about what comes next. Im concerned that Im going to wake up tomorrow and hear that youve fired the coach. Now Im no Mike Sullivan fan, just the opposite, ut this isnt what you need to do.
Hal’s got his new hockey blog up and, as always, its good to follow along.
His latest post, 99 Men, 1 Woman: That’s a list? points out the half-blind “top 100 in hockey” list in The Hockey News features the ‘100 People of Power and Influence’ in hockey.
Clearly these guys (its pretty clear they’re guys) aren’t from around here. In Massachusetts women’s hockey is flying high. We’ve got Olympians, national championship girl’s teams, and female leagues galore.
I love Spotlight on my Mac (Tiger release), so I was even more excited to find out about mdfind.
